  1. The IFF.DOC file is already formatted to print 66 lines per page and will
  2. skip over the perforation.  To print the documentation you can use DOS'
  3. PRINT command, or just enter Control+P or Ctrl+PrtSc and then enter the
  4. DOS command:  TYPE IFF.DOC
  5.  
  6. Remember to press Control_P or Ctrl+PrtSc to turn off the printing after you
  7. are done.  If you have a cut sheet printer, you will have to use a text
  8. editor or your word processing software to print IFF.DOC.  It is a standard
  9. ASCII text file with 80 column width.

  11. To run the demo BATch files (IFF_x.BAT in which x is either E, M, Q, R, or S)
  12. simply enter the name part at the DOS prompt.  For instance, if you want to
  13. see the use of the Exist option, execute the IFF_E.BAT file by entering the
  14. command:

  18. The IFF_E.BAT file uses drive A to test for drive door open and the existence
  19. of the file.  Make sure that your DOS prompt is other than A> and that the
  20. IFF_E.BAT file and the IFF.COM program are either in your current directory
  21. or in a directory which will be located with the current PATH setting.

  23. FILE.LST contains no file names.  You will need to use EDLIN.COM or your own
  24. TEXT editor to make a file list of up to 10 files to test for the existence
  25. of files in the list.

  27. The BATch files are included in the IFF.DOC file in case something happens to
  28. your sample copies.
